The text BHO 1093 is a sermon in Sahidic Coptic honour of the protomartyr. Although identification author was uncertain until now, discovery by Alin Suciu fragment from University Michigan has allowed authorship this to be recovered and attributed Bishop John II Jerusalem (386-417). Because several glaring anachronisms, it seems doubtful that hand Hierosolymitan bishop. It more likely pseudepigrapha ≪hagiographic cycles≫, genre 6th 7th centuries. However, homily not only singularity being one attributed, all literature, Jerusalem, but also reveals precious data on transmission Hagiopolitan liturgy world.
